The Assistant PM will assist all Project Managers within the division for the successful start-up and completion of each project. They are responsible for preparing job start-up documents, submittals, change-orders, RFI’s, and project close-out documents. The Assistant PM will follow company procedures to facilitate and define project scope, as well as use their financial expertise to assure projects are on budget and they support Estimators and other Project Managers with pricing schedules, project take-offs, participate in proposal preparation, and perform technical assessments to facilitate analysis functions. In all tasks, an Assistant PM must follow project specifications and any relevant confidentiality rules. A minimum of 5 years experience is preferred, should have in-depth knowledge of standard electrical estimating procedures, National Electric Code, complete understanding of commercial and government specifications, fluency in blueprint reading.
