A Service Electrician at Wilson Electric expertly services, repairs and replaces a variety of electrical systems, while maximizing lead opportunities.


  • Valid Driver’s License/clean record 
  • Electrician: 10 years
  • Minimum of 10 years in commercial work
  • 2 years service technician experience
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Drug free
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Willing and able to comply with safe work practices
  • Able to be on call.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Trouble shoot and repair electrical components and wiring within commercial properties.
  • Install electrical components, conduit, raceways and wiring in buildings and other job sites.
  • Organize and control tools and materials in vehicles and at job sites.
  • Operate vehicles and other motorized construction equipment.
  • Occasional supervision of others.
  • Knowledge of current NEC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and blueprints.


Physical Requirements

Work requires exposure to construction site environments having temperature extremes, dust, fumes, smoke, hazardous substances and loud noise levels. Up to 70% of the job may include heavy physical work, heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of material that may weigh from 50 to 100 pounds. The position requires the incumbent to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds or aerial lifts, stand or walk for long periods, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours at a time.
