Our Account Executive Team

Our Account Executive team is located nationwide. They are involved in selling complex performance contracting projects in their assigned geographic locations. Our talented team understands the financial complexities involved with putting together a contract that meets each customer’s individual needs. They’re hunters who understand how to attack each market.

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be involved in the following:

  • Understanding of political influences on Performance Contracting sales at the state and local level.
  • Develop sales/marketing plan for capitalizing on State and Local Government, Higher Education and K-12 School and Community College Markets in assigned territory.
  • Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, industry trends, etc.
  • Secure appointments with Administrators, architects, engineers, construction managers and State officials.
  • Understand and influence customer buying process.
  • Lead a team selling effort in project development and acquisition.
  • Develop, track and report customer/project development metrics using supplied software.
  • Actively participate in relevant trade associations.
  • Lead and assist all efforts in customer satisfaction.
  • Support Management on an as-needed basis for efforts including training, consulting and business direction.
  • Provide sound “business judgment.” Weighing risk and reward in conjunction with the management team.
  • Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
  • Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work independently, regularly and dependably.
  • Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.


Here’s is our preferred background for this position:

  • BS degree technical discipline or Business/Marketing, MBA preferred.
  • Previous performance contracting sales experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in high level, owner direct sales, with proven results.
  • Understanding of State, Local Government and K-12 schools market: facility planning, construction and maintenance; funding sources and budgeting process.
  • Previous experience with complex sale cycles that include complex financial arrangements as part of the sale.
