Our Staffing Managers are responsible for all candidate recruitment and most employee/client activities for their assigned branch as well as other specifically assigned geographic regions. This requires an individual who can function with a great deal of independence, consistency, attention to detail, follow-through, personal initiative, responsibility and pride in providing exceptional service. The utilization of independent judgment and solid decision making is paramount to success within this role.

Staffing Managers partner with Business Development Managers during the initial stages of an order. After the Staffing Manager has been connected with the order, it is then their responsibility to successfully deliver properly qualified and appropriately professional candidates to the client in a timely fashion.   • Source Candidates from Internal, External and Networked Connections
  • Maintain Healthy Pool of Qualified Candidates
  • Review Applications, Resumes, CVs
  • Provide Well-Qualified Resumes as Requested
  • Telephone, Online and In-Person Interviewing
  • Perform Reference Checks and Employment Verifications
  • Schedule and Manage Pre-Employment, Random and Post-Accident Screening
  • Conduct Employment Paperwork and Orientation
  • Ensure all Employees’ Paperwork Meets Federal, State and Corporate Standards
  • Perform Regular Arrival, Ending and Performance Calls
  • Provide Counseling for any Employee Issues
  • Manage Expense Reports and Timecards
  • Monitor Expiration Dates of Mandatory Certifications
  • Prepare or Request Routine and Special Reports
  • Prepare Daily Employee Rosters
  • Manage all Employee Assignments in Database
  • Close Assignments as Requested by Client
  • Document all Activities in Corporate Database
  • Manage Client Purchase Orders
  • Ensure Billing Process is Flowing Smoothly for Geotemps and Client
  • Lunch Meetings, Site Visitations, Client Meetings as Requested
  • Attend Regular Contractor Meetings at Client Site


  • 2 Years Administrative AND Customer Service Experience
  • 1 Year Human Resources Experience
  • Prior Experience in Mining / Earth Sciences / Related Field Preferred
  • Prior Staffing Experience Preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…
  • High School Diploma REQUIRED
  • Valid Driver License
  • Must be able to travel as needed (minimal amount)
  • Must be able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed
  • Ability to push, pull and lift 10-15 pounds
  • Must have EXCELLENT / professional verbal, written and electronic communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to perform duties and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to manage time, remain organized during “rushes” and multi-task effectively
  • Must be able to give directives clearly, concisely and effectively
